Guests are transported from their accommodation in Livingstone town to Mosi-Oa-Tunya National Park where they are required to complete an indemnity form. Guests are then introduced to the professional guide and ZAWA scout. The professional guide gives a briefing to the guests on the procedures and safety aspects of the walking safari and he commentates during the course of the walk on wildlife, flora and spoor. The walking segment is approximately 2 hours in duration.
Guests are accompanied by the professional guide to the park exit and then transferred by bus back to their accommodation. Bottled water, coke, sprite and fanta are supplied from the Mosi-Oa-Tunya National Park entrance and throughout the entire activity by a backup vehicle.
Inclusions Soft drinks and Water are included and will be offered on arrival at the Island.
Exclusions The NHCC fee of USD20.00 is payable directly to National Heritage at the Falls Entrance non-commissionable.
Duration approximately 3 hours (walking + – 2 hours)

What to Wear Binoculars, hats, sunscreen, cameras, good walking/hiking boots and water are a must for the trip.
Things to Bring Sunscreen, swimming towel, hat, sunglasses and your camera.
Guests or Spectators No spectators allowed. Maximum number per Group is 8 pax per visit to the island. The Walk is for 1hr 45min from start to finish. Relative fitness is required, Recommended footwear is rafters or trainers, no flip flops or hard sole shoes. The guide can decide to stop walk if the guests have difficulty in coping with heat or rough terrain. Minimum age is 7 years and the child should be physically fit.

Victoria Falls is one of the world’s natural wonders and among the most spectacular sights in all of Africa. The best vantage point from where to witness this immense mass of water is Livingstone Island, the place where Dr David Livingstone first glimpsed Mosi-o-Tunya (The Smoke That Thunders).

- Cancellation between 30 and 60 days before arrival will attract 50% of RACK fees.
- Any Cancellations 48 hours or less before your booking will attract a 100% penalty of the actual activity charge.
