Bird Watching Safari – over 130 species have been seen in one day!

Bird Watching SafariCatering for the keen twitcher, our bird watching safari offers tailor-made trips depending on which species are needed to be found. Either by open safari vehicle, by foot or by boat we search for an array of species through a variety of habitats such as Teak and Mopane woodlands, grassland and riverine forest of the Zambezi National Park.

There are a number of diverse habitats in and around the town of Victoria Falls and the surrounding region and over 415 species of birds have been recorded therein. Explore these wild areas, in search of Rock Pratincole, Grey headed Parrot, African Skimmer, White-backed Night Heron, African Finfoot, Collared Palm Thrush, Dickinson’s Kestrel, Western Banded Snake Eagle and more!

For the half day morning safari, tea/coffee, mineral water and sandwiches are provided. For a full day safari, a picnic lunch on the banks of the Zambezi River is included. Please contact us to discuss safari options.
