Rhino Walk

Enjoy the rare chance to see rhinos up close, thriving and guarded in the beautiful national Park on a Rhino Walk from Livingstone, Zambia.

Rhino Walking Safari Livingstone Zambia Activity

At 05h15 a backup vehicle with Trackers enter Mosi-Oa-Tunya National Park to search for the Rhinos, their position in then relayed to the Professional Guides. Guests are collected from their accommodation in Livingstone town after which they are required to complete an indemnity form. Guests are then driven to Mosi-Oa-Tunya National Park where they are transferred to safari vehicles and introduced to their guides and scouts. After they have been driven to the position where the trackers located the Rhinos guests receive a briefing by their guides regarding the procedures and safety aspects of the walk. Here they have the opportunity to walk near, to spend some quality time interacting with and photographing the rhino.

Professional guides give commentary on the rhino as well as wildlife, flora and spoor encountered during the walk. The walking segment is approximately 2 hours in duration.

Guests are then transported to the picnic site reserved exclusively for the walking safaris where they are provided with Sandwiches and cakes. After their picnic they accompanied by the professional guides to the park exit where they are transferred by vehicle back to their accommodation. Bottled water and soft drinks are provided from Mosi-Oa-Tunya National Park entrance and throughout the entire activity by a backup vehicle.
