Highlights

A Tour of Victoria Falls Two course lunch at The Lookout Café & A Sunset Cruise

Activity Description

Tour of the Falls: Reaching it highest point in about May every year, the 150 million year old waterfall is a truly awe-inspiring experience, affecting each and every one of our senses. The tour is conducted in the morning and the afternoon. En route clients may be taken past the ‘Big ‘Tree’ where they may stop and take photos. Clients will be accompanied through the Rainforest by one of our qualified guides who will give a brief history of the Falls themselves as well as detailing the fauna, flora, bird life and wildlife and other points of interest. Guides are also happy to assist clients with photographs whilst visiting this most spectacular of waterfalls.

The Lookout Café The Lookout Café is perched 120m above the turbulent rapids of the Zambezi River. It overhangs a giant chasm of the Batoka Gorge, just downstream of the Victoria Falls Bridge which forms part of it spectacular backdrop. The semi open-air café is at the current Wild Horizons high wire facility, “The Lookout” where the famed high wire attractions such as the Gorge Swing, Flying Fox and Vic Falls Canopy Tour are operated from. Individuals as well as groups of up to 60 pax are welcomed with prior reservation, and Wild Horizons looks forward to welcoming you to this completely new and uniquely positioned dining experience!

Zambezi Sunset Cruise: The Zambezi River cruise is a superb way to relax and enjoy the beauty of the River. Clients may have the opportunity to see a variety of game; including hippo, crocodile, and elephant as well as enjoy the many different bird species. The Sunset cruise is very popular and includes finger snacks, beer, wine, local spirits and soft drinks. There are great photo opportunities against often-spectacular African sunsets.
